What is Rosemary and what is it used for? |

The name "rosemary"means "rose of the sea," a reference to the original habitat of the plant on the dry, sandy coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.
Even today, the best pungent oil comes from or North Africa; the hotter and drier the climate, the better the aroma.
Rosemary oil smells guite similar to eucalyptus becaouse they have a fragrant ingredient in common; eucalyptol.
Safety information: rosemary is not advised for people with high blood pressure, as it is a stimulatin oil. It should Spain also be avoided by people who suffer from epilepsy.Fragrance profile: strong, camphoraceous, fresh, and herbal aroma with a definite eucalyptus tone.
Main uses: eases muscular ashes and pains,backashe, poor circulation: stimulates gthe scalp and eases dandruff:clears the breathing in colds, influenza, or sinusitis: stimulates the mind and wakes up the brain.
Suggested blends: for aches and pains and for poor circulation, try using 4 drops rosemary, 2 drops lemongrass, and 4 drops nutmeg in 4 teaspoons (20 ml) carrier oil. For a hair and scalp tonic, try adding 5 drops rosemary and 5 drops tea tree to 4 teaspoons (20 ml) of unfragranced shampoo and then washing your hair as normal.
For easier breathing when suffering from colds or influenza, add 3 drops rosemary and 3 drops tea tree to a bowl of nearly boiling water and inhale the vapor for 20 minutes. To help sstimulate the mind, vaporize 3 drops rosemary and 3 drops peppermint.
